I have a text book "Dead End Job". I will never get a promotion, a substantial raise of pay and I have seen that employees have left the company after over 20 years of service and got nothing more than a cold goodbye. I have an agreeable salary which enables me to barely survive from month to month with minimal comforts. I've been here for two years, and come what may, I refuse to endure anymore of this mediocre, stagnated place. I don't know what I'm going to do for sure. I have a car, and in my country people sometimes use private cars as taxis and live that way. I am also a graphic artist and will do some paylancing, cause I can't even afford to call it freelancing. Bottom line, the 29th of January will be my last day of employment.

Hey Alex,

Congrats on leaving your day job, you'll be glad you made the break.

I see your from the Bay Area. A friend of mine told me about your blog and said that he met you at the Meetup202 meeting.

Just wanted to let you know about another local meetup, having our first meeting soon. Check out: http://internetpro.meetup.com/63/

We're in the Pleasanton / Livermore area. So if you wanna meet some other marketers in the area, come on out!
