The problem is with AdSense once someone clicks you receive compensation right away. With affiliates often there is no conversion on their end and I get zilch. Really its all about traffic once you have a steady stream of traffic you can pretty much do what you want and figure out the best combination to maximize revenue. Right now my traffic is till tiny so its hard to come up with good conclusions. Your are probably right I am experimenting using affiliates right now. Having looked all over them I wud suggest you place more of an emphasis on affiliate marketing. I started out with adsense but the earnings are miniscule with that compared to affilaite marketing.
