30 Sites in 90 Days Launch
Recently I decided to leave my job to try and pursue a full time online marketing career. My bank account is pretty slim and I am actively working on selling my car to try to reduce costs. I am even going on a diet called the Master Cleanse to help reduce the cost of food. I estimate I have about 3 months before my cash flow will not be enough to sustain basic living. What I decided to do with those three months is build 30 sites. I am calling it the 30 Sites in 90 Days project.
Goal : Replace my past income as a full time employee to pay for living expenses and have money left over to reinvest into building future sustainable businesses.
- $5/profit/site/day x 30 sites x 30 days/month = $4,500/month
Strategy: Create niche site in markets where competition (SEO and PPC) is moderate to low and appropriate affiliate offers exist. Drive traffic to these niche micro sites which will have the following monetization strategies.
- AdSense or similar Pay Per Click
- CPM
- Newsletter Subscriptions
- Affiliate Offers
- Reviews
Skills : My skill set is diverse, I have always been a jack of all trades.
- SEO
- Design
- Blogging
- Monetization
- PPC (still a n00b but getting better)
- Affiliate Marketing
- Sales Copy Writing
Expenses: $1,278.00 over 3 months
- Hosting $5.99/month x 3 months = $18.00
- Domain $9.99/yr x 30 sites = $300.00
- AWeber Email Management (for newsletter subscription) 19.95/mo x 3 months = $60.00
- AdWords and Promotion $300/month x 3 months = $900
Schedule:
- Each site will take 3 days
- Day 1 – Competitive Research, Keyword Research, Strategy
- Day 2 – Design, Copy Writing, Implementation
- Day 3 – Marketing PPC, Social Media, Link Building
I will be keeping a weekly update on how things are going and the progress being made.

sounds good. interested to see your results. are you building the sites on blogs? There is a product called Wordpress Adsense System that has some pretty good templates and built in monetization.
Good luck with master cleanser. I did a few years ago. (need to again, haha) I was able to do 11 days, absolutely no food. Just the lemonade! haha

I feel very comfortable in the Wordpress environment so to me its not worth paying $100 for what comes to templates. Further more each site will have multiple revenue streams from CPA, CPM, CPC, Newsletter Subscriptions (email generation) and so on.
I am using wordpress but the sites are not all going to be blogs, it really depends on the niche. You can check out a more or less static site I built called AbsintheSugar.com to get an idea of what I am capable of.
BTW I signed up for the Meetup, hopefully I will be able to make it out there.

Recently I also decided to start creating some niche mini sites aimed at affiliate marketing. I can’t wait to hear more about how you get on with this “30 sites in 90 days” challenge.
